Oncology therapist in Chicago?

I need an excellent talk therapist who specializes in working with cancer patients in Chicago.

I've got asks in to other sources for recs but want to cast a wide net, and have always gotten good response on the green. The recs on Psychology Today are either people I know (weird) and thus don't want to work with, or present themselves as too woo-woo for my situation and personality.

I'd prefer to work with someone grounded and down to earth, who understands the reality of a serious cancer diagnosis, whose technique includes offering advice or reaction to what I say (my last talk therapist was good at listening but I had to finally come out and ask her directly to more fully participate with me in these ways.)

I'm in Logan Square, work in the South Loop, CTA reliant so would like to keep travel to short distances from the red or blue lines if possible. I have insurance but will pay out of pocket if need be for the right therapist.

Response by poster: I've got a list of potential names through my insurer and other sources, but I am really hoping for recommendations based on quality and expertise. Thanks!
