I feel like I'm going to once again advised to seek therapy, but please allow me to ask this here - I just love this forum because I can hear so many people's points of view!!
I'm a 20-something female. During my stay at a youth hostel for a few days... the manager (again completely my dad's age, this time MARRIED & has kids my age) made a bunch of comments that I find very... uncomfortable and want to know what others think :)
"You are a sweet girl." (- I have absolutely done nothing sweet.)
"I like talking to you, I don't usually connect like this with other guests... I feel there is something between us."
"Tonight if I have time, we are going to go look at the beach and take beautiful photos and get a coffee, ok?"
"I don't want you to leave, so I will offer a special price for you, don't tell anyone, so you can stay here and talk to me."
"There's a nicer room, but the problem is, if you go there, I won't see you as much."
"If you go somewhere else, I'd miss you. I like seeing & talking to you. I'm gonna call you and we'll go to restaurants, parks, etc. ok? Promise me."
"Do & did you have boyfriend/s? You're sweet so that's a turn-on for some guys"
(After me answering "Yes, sometimes (had BFs)") -> "Oh, it's ok, it's part of life & experience, you know, like a little kissing and stuff" (- What?! O_o)
"You said you don't want to get married... that bothers me. Are you a lesbian?"
"I deserve a bear hug :)"
"Aww you are like a baby." (about my laughs, so embarrassing... -_-)
Thank you again, everybody. :]
