What's a good choice of removable insoles for someone who doesn't like to wear socks?

I make them by cutting up old mousepads.

But I have small feet and, through my job, an almost limitless supply of old mousepads.

I don't like to wear socks ... and just this week bought my first pair of insoles ever, after finding that I was experiencing heel pain when wearing my favorite pair of "thin leather" moccasin-like slip-ons. I bought Dr. Scholls Insoles -- randomly selected, but effective.
