French-language ebooks (that have an English-language equivalent)

Where can I acquire the same novel in a digital format, in both French and English? Really, I just need to find French ebook translations of English novels or French novels that have an ebook English translation.

I'd like to do some computational analysis of English-language novels and their French translations, or conversely French-language novels and their English translations. Free resources would be be awesome since it allows me to acquire more data, but I'd also be happy to buy ebooks out of pocket (especially if in the SF/fantasy genre that I'll actually read) if I can figure out where.

Amazon obviously has a great selection of ebooks and is also pretty good about carrying translations, but they're not very good for French-language ebooks (or maybe I'm just using the wrong search terms). If I poke around on Amazon.ca or Amazon.fr, how do I go about downloading Kindle ebooks given that I don't have an international Kindle registered? Or maybe there's an awesome indie website I don't know about.

Best answer: For older books, you could use Project Gutenberg. There may not be a ton but here's their list of books in French. Who doesn't enjoy The Count of Monte-Cristo?

Best answer: Feedbooks.com is good for this sort of thing. In their public domain section, they take texts from Gutenberg and other sources and clean up the ebooks - add tables of contents, metadata, etc. They offer public domain books in a number of languages and there's substantial overlap.

For example, the Arthur Conan Doyle page has a lot of his work in both English and French.
