Calls via Google Voice only?

Is there a way I can set up my home (VOIP via cable company) phone to only ring for calls that come in via my Google Voice number?

I have a "landline" (I put in quotes because it's really VOIP via the cable company) that effectively came for free with my cable service. I have barely used it at all yet, but there are occasions when it would be nice to be able to receive calls on it. However, the number gets a good number of wrong numbers, telemarketers (despite being on the do not call list), etc. So I have it set to go directly to voicemail. I also have a Google Voice number which offers much better spam filtering and blocking capabilities. So I'd like to be able to give out that number as my "home" number, forward it to my real landline, and have that landline ring ONLY if the call came in via Google Voice. But it's not clear to me if there's any way to do this.
I could set Google Voice to send the GV number rather than the caller's number as caller ID, but not having caller ID would suck. And as far as I can tell the cable company doesn't offer a way to filter by incoming caller number anyway, so I'm not sure it would buy me anything.
Is there something I'm missing? Have any of you done this before? How does it work?
