ID a poem for me.

Sometime 5-9 years ago, The New Criterion published a poem divided into parts, one of which ended "bones. bones. bones. bones." (each instance of "bones." being on a separate line). I think that section was headed "things that are white" and it included "your smile". Now I can't remember anything else about it. Any leads as to author, text, etc?

Best answer: "Bones" by Robley Wilson, from the Nov 1998 issue of The New Criterion.

Weirdly enough, you can buy the poem from Amazon.

Not sure if you're still reading this thread, but you can also find it here after you sign up for a "free" trial. (They want a credit card number, though, so I'm guessing it's not free as in speech or free as in beer, but rather free as in "not really.")

However, I should warn you that the article's from High Beam Research, which got mixed reviews in a recent Ask Me post.

I should have mentioned, some library databases may have the poem for free.
