How to send an Amazon gift card to China

I need to set up someone in China with an Amazon gift card ($20). I live in Canada. Looking at the Amazon site, it's not immediately apparent how to do this. Any ideas?

Best answer: You can select the Email card, that's the easiest way to do it.

Old school, but you could go to a local grocery, dept, or drug store that sells gift cards (Amazon retailer list here). Just pick one up and mail it. Otherwise, the recommendation from Ruthless Bunny is the best.

Sorry, Amazon gift cards at retail stores may only be available in the U.S. You could always check though...

They can order from U.S. Amazon while in China, but will need to pay a lot in shipping. my parents used to send me gift cards through email when I lived in China.

China also has an amazon site, but I don't think you can get a gift card for that from the U.S. Amazon site; when I wanted to use China's amazon (while living in China) I was not able to log in with my U.S. account and had to create a new one.

Response by poster: Thanks. The Email card works perfectly, and has let me send Amazon cards to several survey responders. Perfect.
