Who is the artist of this comic illustrating some fundamental truths about cats? I've bookmarked this person on a dead laptop, and GIS doesn't seem to take me any closer to the source. Please hope me.

This person seems to be claiming they made it. Their tumblr is still active so you could contact them and ask.

TinEye sorted by difference on your image implies it has had 3 major versions, possibly through multiple authors.

This is probably something uploaded to 4chan, somethingawful, or livejournal, and then remixed (I assume the "cats are lame/why i hate cats" version is first, it's always better to assume cynicism in those parts). The author is quite possibly anonymous and not a webcomic person but a "meme" person.

Response by poster: Frustrating, but I think dhartung has got it. Oh well, I guess that means I don't have to feel horrible about not crediting the artist then.
