Loan Etiquette?

When is it too late to increase the amount of a consolidation loan request?

We submitted all our paperwork on Friday. Our agent had already run both our credit and said everything looks good and to expect a call on Monday, today. Over the weekend we realized the amount doesn't provide for any "extra" funds to do anything before we both get paid in two weeks. The pantry is low and so is the gas tank. Is it too late to ask for a little more or would this be bad form?

There is nothing wrong with asking. Just call up your agent and ask.

You are the customer. Ask at any time, up to and including 1 day before you sign.
