Fixing image quality on blogger?

While updating my blog today, I noticed that images uploading using Blogger's iOS app are of AWFUL quality. How can I fix this? I updated the app recently, and noticed that it now inserts a picture into the text directly (before it would put a thumbnail of the pic below the post). I tried changing the image resolution in the app, but that just made the blurry pictures bigger. I'm using app version 2.1.7.1 on iOS 6.1.3.

Best answer: I don't know if this helps much, but back when I had a blogger blog, I used to blog directly from Flickr most of the time because of this very issue. You can do this via the share button on Flickr on the photo page - it will give you an option to link your blog and flickr account. I really felt it helped the photo quality.

Best answer: When i upload images now i have to edit 2 things in the html code.
By default it links to the s320 version of the image so i change that to s1600 and since that uses a wide image i also add in a width="95%" or whatever is suitable to control the size.
