Help find SeeFold folding glasses.

Please help me find these folding glasses. I bought a pair of inexpensive plastic folding reading glasses by SeeFold, but I can't remember where and I can't find them (a drugstore or grocery store I think). They are perfect for my purposes, and I want to get some more. (I've tried other folding glasses and none were as good). A Google search generates various references that send me to www.seefold.com, but it doesn't exist. Anyone seen these glasses, or have ideas on how to search for them?

Here is seefold.com as it looked before they (presumably) lost control of the domain. It reports that they're available at Walgreens. This page from Google's cache lists their business address and phone number. I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you where to buy their product if they still exist. My hunch is that the company is no longer, but that's only a hunch.

According to this page, Seefold's distributor was a The Accessory Group. The Accessory Group sells sunglasses on Amazon.com- but not reading glasses. Maybe you could contact them?

According to the same page, the glasses had an internet distributor, Legacy International. The same company, with the same president, Jack Overstreet, is listed here as "an oil and gas exploration firm". However, the website, www.legacyinternational.com, is today owned by a company in Indiana, "dedicated to professional preservation of the life stories of individuals."

Jack Overstreet
was a major donor to the George W. Bush campaign in 2004. The most recent information about him (i think) is that he's on the 2005 board for The Auria Higher Education Center, and his e-mail adress is also listed at www.legacyinternational-inc.com (no configured website on this URL). Maybe you could contact Mr. Overstreet?

According to this, SeeFold glasses were sold at QVC. No similar product is for sale today at www.qvc.com.

It seems SeeFold is out of business for good.

Wow - Mendel and Iviken, your research skills are great - I'm obviously clueless on how to do an archived web search - looks like I'm out of luck on the glasses, though I'll pursue it, but thanks for taking the time to assist.

My guess is that Seefold folded because their product just wasn't that unique. Even if you like the looks, there are numerous results when searching for "folding reading glasses", such as the Minifold, the Clic, the Scojo line, MySpex, and so on. Look for stores selling travel items.
