Can you help me find a zine article I read some years ago? A man decided to say "yes" to all offers made to him during a 24 hour period. He was traveling in Europe by train.
I think I read this a few years ago but it may have been reprinted in a book. The author was definitely male and was definitely traveling in Europe on a train. He said yes to everything people invited him to do for a day, and he was happy with the results.
This came up in conversation with someone yesterday so I think this article may be pretty well-known as far as zine articles go.

No idea about this specific story, but it sounds like something Aaron Cometbus would do.

Response by poster: Thanks for the replies so far. I am certain it was a short narrative, not a book, and part it did take place on a train in Europe.
I am hauling out my old issues of cometbus, but I am pretty sure it was written by someone else.

Is it possible it was a David Sedaris piece? I don't have access to my collection of his books at this time, but this rings a bell, that he kept agreeing to things and ended up with funny stories out of it.

Best answer: Burn Collector. I think it's #14, but I'm not sure ... it has an orange cover. There are actually two "all you have to do is say yes to everything" incidents in there; you're thinking of the second one. The author is Al Burian.
