Easy to put together but not to take apart: flat panel stand

This could be a Dell tech support question, but I think it may actually be easier to get answered here. I have a Dell E-Flat Panel Stand and I'm trying to disconnect the riser from the base of the stand. The diagram is no help; it only shows how to put them together (see diagram 1). I've had no luck with Google or the Dell support site. I don't see any release button/unlocking switch. Help!

Best answer: Well, I have a similar-ish Dell stand, and it's basically a snap-tab arrangement where when you put the pieces together the plastic tab snaps into place and locks it there. To undo you would need to unsnap the tab (carefully of course) and slide the riser out. Look for a piece that's ever-so-slightly bendable and try to pry at it with a small screwdriver or other tool.

Response by poster: It does have a little metal tab ... I'll try to bend it gently and see if that works.

Response by poster: Did the trick -- hooray! I have been fooling with this thing for a long time tonight and now it's APART. Thank you!
