I can't seem to find a good organizational/calender app for my mac.

I have sampled so many I can't even remember the names of them all. I have scoured the web for suggestions. You'd think this would be a basic thing. But honestly, I can't seem to find a calendar/organizational app for my mac that is 1) inexpensive, 2) not annoying and 3) broad-based enough to handle both notes and calendar dates. Evernote is terrific, and I use it all the time, but it is also a dumping ground for everything I think I may ever need to refer to in life. What I'm looking for is something that will enable me to make lists of short-term (up to a year) deadlines and projects, along with note-making capabilities and, of course, a basic calendar function. Nozbe is perfect, but not at the price point of $10 a month. Is there anything else out there that's as good or almost as good as Nozbe that doesn't cost $90+ a year?

Take a look at Memoires.

If 5 projects is enough, you can get the free plan from Nozbe.

I "wish" 5 projects were enough. I probably have 50 -- at least. Love Nozbe. Not the price.
