How do I get my speakers and printer to work?

Remember The Magical "Clean Boot?" Well, it messed up my computer.
None of my devices work now. I went back to the default setting, but nothing is working (Msconfig is set to Normal Startup). I can't print, and I can't use my speakers. There's nothing displayed in Device Manager. I tried to re-add my printer, but it said "Operation could not be completed. The print spool service is not working." And when I double click on "add hardware" in control panel, nothing even happens. I would appreciate any help... I don't even care about not having yahoo start itself anymore.

Best answer: Black Viper has downloadable reg files to reset your services back to their default settings, amongst other things. The web design is straight out of 1992, but the information is topnotch.

Response by poster: Well I downloaded "XP Home File:
DefaultHomeAllSP1a.zip ~ Size - 6,774 bytes ~ Version 1.0 ~ 18JUL2004" but right now it's sitting on my desktop because I'm a bit scared, as I don't know whether or not I should use it.
