Please help me track down the source of a quote by Germaine de Staël

I am editing a text that references Madame de Staël commenting about nostalgia (and particularly perhaps in reference to childhood and melodies) that it is “the passion of memory” and “the most vexatious pain that can seize the soul.”

This is somewhat urgent. The author (who is 92, and French) is inaccessible. Staël's quote may have originally been in French and translated by the author.

Response by poster: never mind, I found it in Corinne ou L'Italie, book 14, chapter 3.
