Is there an app or site I can use to build a wishlist from many sites?

I would like to have a site or app where I can list stuff I want to buy from many different places - ideally from any vendor on the web - and people can buy it for me without them getting my address. Does such an animal exist?

Best answer: Amazon offers a browser button that will let you add items from any site to your Amazon wishlist, and you can then expose your list and let people buy things on it without your address being made visible.

Tomorrowful beat me to it. Amazon does exactly what you're looking for.

I don't think you can buy things on 3rd party website from an amazon wishlist without knowing the address. Realistically, that would only work if the 3rd party website was set up to handle it (even if such a service existed) because they would have to hide the delivery address on confirmation emails, order summaries, invoices etc. There is no magic amazon (or anyone else) could do to make someone else's website behave in that way.

Scratch that - I think actually making a purchase can't just piggyback on the Amazon wishlist - your purchaser would be going through that other site's system, so they'd have to know what address to put in.

Elfster.com? We used it for my family gift exchange and it's great.
