Post-up NYC Bar with Bags

This is very specific NYC filter: What not-too-crowded-but-not-dead bar to hang between 5pm-7pm tomorrow in NYC? Should be in Tribeca, near Penn Station OR along the 1/2 subway line.

I'll be posting up there until my friend gets home from work with a backpack and rolling suitcase. Want to go to the bar where you can chat with bartenders (getting a seat at the bar) and after a couple drinks, random folks. A Photo Hunt machine would be nice.

http://www.formerlycrows.com - Just off the Christopher St/Sheridan 1 train stop at 85 Washington Pl. My friend Rob bartends there - he's chatty. You'll like it.

The Nancy Whiskey Pub: wonderfully friendly dive, don't know about Photo Hunt but there's shuffleboard, on the border of Soho and Tribeca, equidistant from the Canal and Franklin stops on the 1 (though if you're coming from Penn Station, you can also take the A/C/E and get even closer).

Mudville 9 or the Patriot, both just off the 1,2,3 at Chambers are both generally on the quiet side. Plenty of room to roll in luggage and relax at the bar.

The Other Room is in Tribeca and I really enjoy it -- it's a cute little wine bar with a really relaxed and romantic ambience.
