Massage gift packages in MA/NH?

I'd like a gift for a years worth of massage for my wife. Where can I find a company offering a deal on this?

I know some Elements Massage locations offer monthly hour-long massage for $49/mo but my local Elements gets pretty crappy reviews. Does anybody know of any options in my area for something similar? My wife needs stress relief on a regular basis and does not get it. She'd love something like that. Other ideas?

We live in the Merrimack Valley in MA but spent a lot of time in S. NH and in Burlington. Willing to consider options in any of those areas.

Thanks!

Massage Envy is pretty ubiquitous in my neck of the woods. One of the ladies in my office loves her location and enjoys her frequent massages there.

Check their locations, there may be one near you.

What a freaking thoughtful gift!

Find the best rated, most highly recommended massage therapist in your area and just contact them. Everyone I know will do you a deal, like buy 12 for the price of 10.

Response by poster: The massage therapist she was going to (with far less frequency) for the last 15 years retired... :( We DO have a Massage Envy, though! I'll look into it. I'll also try out your suggestion, Bri.
Thanks!

Perhaps a Spafinder gift card? Personally, I would be reluctant to purchase a lengthy spa membership from a place I'd never visited. With a gift card, she can try various places until she finds one that she likes best!

Maybe you could contact the old massage therapist for recommendations? That's what we did when my wife's retired and we found someone just as good.

Hand and Stone is a company similar to Massage Envy, I have a subscription with them and I think their credit roll-over system may be more customer friendly than massage envy. You might want to ask what happens if you don't go in for a month or two before you sign up with a chain place.

The benefit of going massage envy/hand and stone type places are that they have lots of therapists to try out. Picking someone local would be great too, but she might want to try them first before you commit to a whole year.

Current Massage Envy promotion: Buy $100 in gift cards and get a 1-hour massage free. That way she can try it out (they do facials, too) and you can get her the $49/mo subscription after that if she likes it.

Response by poster: 2soxy, I'm not seeing anywhere where you get a free 1-hour massage when you buy a gift card. Would you mind linking?
Thank you! I will probably do that.
The problem with some other suggestions is that she's hung up on having a male therapist and the ones that have been recommended have been female. With a place like Massage Envy she can choose.
