Testosterone for late 30's? More details
Iam a guy in my late 30's and was wondering do some men start taking testosterone boosters or tablets at this age. Iam pretty healthy for my age and have had a great libido until now, when I started taking Finpecia (Indian version of Propecia after a hair transplant this april.
So any suggestions I should also start taking anything to boost libido like tribulous terrace?. Again Iam healthy and workout regularly.

Get a blood test and see if your testosterone levels are below normal.

Really does sound more like a drug issue than an age issue. Doctor please.

In here to say what hobo gitano de queretaro said. I have been on drugs that kill your libido and all the testosterone in the world (like injections and creams prescribed by the doctor) didn't help. I'd get checked out before you waste your money on any boosters.

Side effects with finasteride are way more common than Merck would have you believe. Ask your doctor about trying a lower dose. I would consider stopping finasteride entirely before you consider additional testosterone. There's a good chance the testosterone will cancel out any hair-saving effects of the finasteride while leaving you with a doubly wonky hormonal balance. Chronically altering your hormones is serious business.

Taking additional testosterone isn't going to help you, because that drug blocks the effect of testosterone. Sort of like chemical castration, in a way.
