Question: Suzuki Esteem Door Handles?

I'm looking for a reputable online auto parts store.

Within a week of each other, both of the front door handles on my 2002 Suzuki Esteem broke off inside (passenger and driver side). I pulled off the inside of the door to survey the damage and I'll need replacements. Has anyone here dealt with an online auto parts store/site that they could recommend? The only place I found that actually has the part, seems a little dicey. Thanks in advance.

According to Kevin Kelly over at Cool Tools, Car-part.com is a good place to start.

Suzukis (most cars that I'm aware of, actually) come with a 3 year, 36000 mile bumper to bumper, which would cover the door handles. Are you out of time?

I've gotten good stuff off of ebay before. A lot of chop-shops and such use it, so there's a lot of stuff being unloaded most of the time, but all there seems to be is an outside door handle, not an inside.

The trouble is that you'll probably have to buy the parts new, since it's only three years old. (Broken handles after three years? Well.. it is a Suzuki...) If you have the warranty, that's really your best bet.

Gagels. Without question. I don't know if the handles differ between the Base/GL/GLX versions (though, probably not), but give them a call and tell them your VIN, and the part you need. So you know, the interior handle is usually an entire assembly, consisting of the handle, any trim pieces, and a long rod to connect to the locking mechanism.

Also, call them, don't just use the web search.

Yeah Seize, I'm just out of warranty. They did cover a new catalytic converter so that was good. Thanks to you all, I have three new places to check online. I appreciate your help.
