Fan hack

What would be cool to have spin round and round, but that's light and aerodynamical enough that my fan's motor could power it?

My Vornado fan's blade broke and I'm looking to replace the blade with something else.

Isn’t it going to spin really fast? It seems like whatever you would attach would become "fan blade" by default, or something like one. Most likely a dangerous projectile. Otherwise you’ll have to figure out how to slow it down significantly.
