RSS to email for dummies?

Is there a (free) service that will email me all updates to a particular blog?

I've set a friend up with a blog (via Blogger, if that makes a difference) and I'd like to be able to offer the blog in (email) newsletter form, since I know that some of her readers will have little interest in checking her blog regularly, and even less interest in using an RSS reader.

What I'd love is to be able to post a link that, upon clickage, will take the reader to a page where all they have to do is type in their email address to subscribe (i.e. no registration). Can do?

Use an RSS aggregator.

Any of these work? I just googled RSS to email.

I don't think Blogger has anything like this, but I know several other blogging programs have it.

Best answer: RssFwd works for me.

curtm : didn't skryche just say that his/her friend's readers have no interest in an RSS reader? I'd imagine they won't be interested in aggregators, hence the "to-email" thing.

Response by poster: Mroz, that is exactly what I want. Bonus points for suggesting a tool based on the terribly hip Ruby on Rails!

This answers a question I'd had for a while. RssFwd looks great, thanks.

Blogger has an option to email posts when the post is published. For a site I maintain, I have the address set to send the posts to a mailing list to which people have subscribed.
