In picture #19, can this ship be saved? Assuming the hull is sound, can it be dragged back into the water, or shoved there, or some combination? Or is it a total loss?

Best answer: They'll probably off-load the fuel and use a series of floats, cranes and barges to get it back into the water. Assuming its bilge pumps can keep enough water out, they'll tow it to dry dock and do repairs.

Best answer: Beached ships like this can generally be salvaged - for example, the MV Pasha Bulker was driven ashore during a storm, and was eventually refloated and repaired.

Best answer: These people make the types of floats I'm talking about.
