What costume can I base around white super-high-heel boots?

I'm looking for Halloween costume ideas (for a man) based around an awesome pair of white, patent leather, lace-up, knee-high boots with about a seven-inch heel. Thought of this but Emma Frost is already not a super-well-known character, so I feel like it'll fall flat. But that's the vibe: cross-dressy / gender-bent or straight-boy-drag, rather than full drag.

Look at pictures of The New York Dolls, Mick Ronson, T Rex's band, Moot The Hoople, The Sweet, Slade, Brian Eno, Roxy Music, Todd Rundgren etc, and get inspiration for being a 70's Glam Rocker.
