Online book reviews in Brasil

Why is it that in Brazil, there are no reviews / ratings of books on any of the online book stores? Does anyone know of any stores that might have this seemingly basic functionality?

The Submarino site has Amazon-style ratings and reviews. See, for example, 50 Shades of Grey:

I have a theory why, because of our recent experience with state censorship, Brazilians react very badly to moderation, so open online forums such as product reviews quickly devolve into stinky messes that make youtube comments look erudite.
