Cyprus: Larnaca > Paphos

Cyprus: Travel between Larnaca airport to Paphos. What are my options? Has anyone done this recently? Many thanks!

I am flying into Larnaca airport, and want to get to Paphos, preferably without too much hassle after a long flight. Travel books and sites yield various options ranging from local buses to shared taxis to private taxis, but often the info is vague, or uncertain, or undated. Has anyone done this recently who can explain clearly what my options might be? I'll have a small roller and a book bag, so am quite mobile. Many thanks!

I did this in 2008 via a cab at the airport. It was easy but not particularly cheap, and I wish I'd rented a car so I could explore more.
