Brilliant Retail product search - how can it be revised to accept numbers?

I'm only asking here because I'm not getting help via the product's official support forum. Does anyone know how I can find and revise the code that runs the Brilliant Retail (Expression Engine third party e-commerce module) product search? It's not accepting numbers and that's crucial because my client's product names are all alphanumeric.

All help will be much appreciated.

I see your post on their forums and assume you've been through there. But, in case you missed one, does this thread point you in the right direction?

I've since been contacted by the software developer and he's getting back to me shortly, but thanks tons for that link. I missed that thread but it looks like I can now at least get to the file I'll need to edit.
