Kaiser?

Can anyone share their experiences with Kaiser Richmond/Pinole - especially in regards to pediatrics?

So my family is thinking of making the switch from Blue Cross to Kaiser, but we are feeling a bit hesitant. It would save us @ $200/month.

We live just north of Berkeley, so neither Richmond or Pinole are especially convenient locations. We like our pediatrician in Berkeley. Neither my wife or I have especially strong feelings about our personal physicians. Is switching to Kaiser worth the extended travel to get to a doctor?

I just read that Kaiser (Northern California) received excellent ratings in Consumer Reports (Nov 2011 issue). We are moving to the Bay Area in a couple weeks and have chosen to go with Kaiser based on my research.
