Looking for a salon in WNY/Buffalo/Niagara region

Looking for a salon in Western NY Niagara or Buffalo area that can give me a nice textured short haircut - had an awesome guy here earlier this year but he has since moved to Cleveland! I have rather thick slightly wavy hair so this person will have to have some serious skill! Any suggestions?

Response by poster: Forgot to add that I am an active but still rather femme lady, so no buzz cuts allowed ;) already went through that phase!

My friends, one of whom has thick hair, have had luck at Lotus. Ask for Steven, the owner. (He did my hair, too, and gave it a very good cut, but my hair is fine, so my experience may not count.) It's in Snyder/Amherst.

Fawn and Fox. Generally anyone there is good, but Dana is a suggestion.

I recently went to All That Jazz salon and spa in Niagara Falls, and liked it. They did my bridal hairdo as well last month, and also my husband's haircut and style. Everyone there is good.

Brenden at Chez Ann in Williamsville. I have been to way too many stylists (at nice salons!) who don't take the type of hair they're cutting into account when they do the cut - he made my fine, limp, wavy hair look fabulous *and* showed me how to make it look fabulous on my own. Cannot recommend him highly enough.
