GoogleFu: Can you find out the name of the company behind this job offer?

It occurred to me that if you really wanted to get hired, being able to locate the company name with Google would immediately demonstrate your credentials. But also, I wanted to find out if it was a scam because it sounds like something that should pay minimum wage like Mechanical Turk.

Doing a quick search of just some of the text comes up with the same ad posted for Rockville, IL and Dayton, OH. My vote it is some scam stupidity. Best just to move on.

Reply to the offer from a fake email asking for more information and go on that?

"choose your own timings and amount of work load"?

Doubt very much that was written by a native English speaker. Close, but no cigar. This search shows this is turning up with slight variations all over the place.

In my opinion the little wording variations and tweaks to the position name pretty much seal the deal on this being a scam, they are doubtless working around spam detection and aiming to to mask the ubiquity of the basic come-on. No particular reason to believe the same whatever is behind all of them or even the same fraudulent object: somewhat credulous people who need money and are willing to take chances and jump through hoops are going to be a valuable commodity in any variety of online scams. Personally I'm 100% confident it is not worth the bother of your time following up what's behind it. They all want the same thing: personal data or access to your computer.

For all intents and purposes jobs like this don't exist. And to be perfectly frank if someone put a verifiably legitimate one on Ask and I googled out the inside track on it I would keep it to myself and apply for it privately. I wouldn't even feel bad about it, I mean come on, I just proved I was the best person for the job, right?

Sounds similar to what the assistants do at FancyHands.

I'm humiliated by my lack of Googling the text (I just googled the job title) and by missing the bad English. Thanks guys for being so smart.

Also, I might not apply to work at FancyHands but I bet I'll use it.

Differently interpreted you got strangers on the internet to do the legwork for you for free without having to think about it too hard. You've got management potential baby!
