Exceptional bodywork/manual therapy (Egoscue, Active Release Technique, etc.) in New York City? [Ref: The Four Hour Body]

I'm heading to New York City the last week in September for vacation. I've got issues with knee pain that chiropractic, foam roller and rehab-type exercises hasn't addressed. In "The Four Hour Body", Tim Ferriss had great results with a few types of bodywork. I believe the practitioner is more important than what the technique is called.

With this in mind, can anyone recommend a practitioner in New York City or nearby who's really really good? I don't want simply good, but a "magic fingers" type of person. High cost OK if they're worth it.

When I lived in NYC, I used to see Dr. Ron Safko for ART. He's a no-nonsense chiro, and he fixed my issues pretty quickly.

Rachel Putter is a long-time practitioner of the Grinberg Method, which can be extremely effective in cases of chronic pain. She's based in LA but I believe she gives sessions in New York. Disclaimer: I am not Rachel Putter. But I do like the Grinberg Method.
