I'm wondering what sort of plant this is. Anyone know?

If that's a leaf, then maybe a jade plant?

Is it thick? Will it break if you bend it, or is it thin. It's pretty hard to tell the dimensions from that photo. Is that just a "leaf" from it, or the whole plant.

More information please.

If it is just one leaf and it is thick/breakable I would hazard a guess at some type of Jade plant.

Third vote for Jade plant.

it's... actually not flat, it's thickest in the middle. It's like the shape of a large beetle. Sorry about the pic.

and... I'm actually not sure if it's a leaf or the whole plant, I found it on a walk.

put it in a shot glass of water and it might grow roots -- Jade and other succulents are often easy to propagate this way

if the leaf is eensy and thin (like, 1/4-1/2"), it could be purslane, which is edible!
