Looking for good HR software

Applicant tracking software. Does anyone have any experience with the multitudes of hosted applicant tracking software providers out there (for posting jobs and managing resumes internally)? Currently, our company is testing out Prohire, but as the person who handles the website, I find it to less than desirable from a code standpoint and from a customer service standpoint. It is affordable at around $300 a month. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Why not use a customer relationship management solution? Sugar CRM is a great package for managing contacts and information about them. You can attach resumes, keep notes, track interviews (meetings) and phone calls, etc. There would be a lot of other stuff you might want to hide or ignore (money figures and fields) but it could work.

There is a professional version and an Open Source (free) version.
