Hosted site is hit and miss

What could be the reason(s) that a few sites hosted on the same server can't be found by my ISP. They load fine for other people but not for me.

It's not my connection - everything's fine for other sites. If you're inclined, visit www.spacecontrol.ca and see if it loads for you.

When you say others, you mean others with the same ISP (and general geographic location, ie. city) or just 'others' generically. If it's a problem with the ISP in that area, it sounds like it might be some kind of dns error at their level. If not, it could be something with dns on your end or it could also be some sort of filtering software on your system that has for some reason flagged it. I'm sure there's more possibilities, but I can't think of many that would only stop some sites and that show the conn. working fine.

I'm not an expert, but hopefully this will give some ideas where to look while others are busy. For that reason, an update to the question would be helpful.

Best answer: You have a DNS problem. The nameservers for spacecontrol.ca (ns.websitescreation.ca and ns2.websitescreation.ca) do not exist in DNS and the IP addresses listed for them in WHOIS (66.49.182.142 and 66.49.182.143) are unreachable. You're going to have all kinds of problems until this is fixed. The "other people" for whom the web site is working (including me) are probably getting cached DNS information that happens to work.

Contact the administrator of websitescreation.ca and get the DNS fixed, or park the DNS somewhere else.
