Where can I find a Sortfolio clone?

Is there an open source project or Wordpress theme that is very similar to Sortfolio?

I want to build a niche directory site and I love the layout and functionality of Sortfolio. My Google-fu is failing me in finding an open source project (or maybe a Wordpress theme) that will get me close. Building it from scratch is beyond my abilities, taking something close and customizing I can do. I found the sketchy looking company selling the $500 clone. Too sketchy - too expensive.

It sounds like you're asking about the interface, not the functionality. If so, here are some WordPress themes that may work: one, two, three.
