Name that Game

I'm trying to find a computer game I vaguely remember. It was an indie game with I think top down combat with mechs. The main feature I remember was the weapon customization was done by sort of wiring components together in a flowchart. I can't for the life of me remember any more useful details, and it's driving me nuts!

Response by poster: No, that's not it. The game I'm thinking of was more of an action-game-with-overcomplicated-customization than a programming-game.

Omega, perhaps? Although the machines you customized in Omega were more akin to tanks than mechs.

Probably not it, but The Bureau of Steam Engineering?

When did you play it? Was it new at that time or had it been out awhile?

Was it Captain Forever? Unlikely but worth throwing out there.
