What's my best bet for Mars lander coverage?

What major television network and/or webstream should I use to watch the Curiosity landing this weekend?

I have access to most major American (and Canadian) networks. I have a good DSL internet connection. I'm just looking for informed commentary and a bit of nerd hype on the side wouldn't hurt. I haven't seen any networks advertising special coverage, but then again I don't watch a lot of TV.

Best answer: Your actual best bet is NASA TV.

If you have an Xbox 360 and a Live Gold account you can watch from the dashboard. It looks like they will be using the NASA TV feed during the landing but they have some other content surrounding that.

Here's some more options, including public viewings. I'll be at the Cornell event.

I'll be watching NASA TV here at home, all the while intoning under my breath "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't crash, please please please please please!"

I was hoping for some public event with a good feed, but I haven't come across one yet. (If anyone knows of one in Boston I'd love to know). So I'll probably be watching it on NASA TV too. There will also probably be a frequently updated post on MeFi that I'll be following too.
