Does anyone here use a Roland SPD-SX? I have a bunch of questions about using one...
Here are the things that I would love to be able to do with it:
1) Make the click play a different or accented beat on the '1'
2) Make a pad trigger the click, then play its backing after two bars of that click
3) For the backing track pad, disregard further hits on that particular pad once the backing part is playing.
Anyone know if/how to do these things?
Here are my current workarounds:
I can put a custom wav click onto a pad and route that to HEADPHONES ONLY, which nearly solves 1&2. The problem is that the SPD allows you to route the various pads to MASTER+PHONES or PHONES ONLY but not MASTER only. So if I'm using a pad click in my earphones then I have to have all the other pads in my ears at about the same volume.
