Snacks with an Ender's Game Twist

Help me come up with awesome Ender's Game-themed snacks for my book club.
I am hosting book club this weekend. We're discussing Ender's Game. Because I'm a geek it's not enough to just have snacks. I want to have conceptual snacks. I could just do space-themed snacks, but I thought I'd hit up the green to see if anyone has more inspired ideas.
I could make ants climbing on a log (celery and peanut butter with raisins) because ants are bugs which are kind of like buggers. I also thought of cottage cheese to represent when Ender digs through the giant's eyeball -- which is just nasty.
So that's the brief: Conceptual but not nasty.

Maybe make some nachos that are arranged in the shape of the giant's corpse? I guess it could be time consuming.

Oh shit, better idea: layered jello squares based on army colors (make them up for those that aren't explicit, e.g. phoenix = red orange white)

Best answer: Whatever you make, have a sign telling people they can have seconds, but absolutely no "thirds."

"And always Ender carried with him a dry white cocoon, looking for a place where the hive-queen could awaken and thrive in peace. He looked a long time."
Hmm, could you make coconut macaroons shaped like cocoons?

Googling, Card seems to really like 61% cacao semisweet chocolate from E. Guittard. So get some of that and put it on a little table. In a closet.

I'm not sure about Ender's Game but when you do Speaker for the Dead you need to serve Vienna sausage piggies.

Have cut up honeycomb segments or foods that involve honey, since insects make it.

Maybe some army ration-ish food due to the whole military theme. Or regular food, but served out of tin cans that have the labels removed and the type of food written in Sharpie.

I've always wanted to have a reason to get a brain jello mold. If you mix grape and orange jello, you get a brainy gray. If you add yogurt or cottage cheese, the color gets murkier. But it tastes fine. Or, use lime jello and add some tequila for margarita brains. mmmm, brains...
Also, devilled eggs. You could use caviar as ants on the eggs, but I don't like it, so I'd use capers or chopped black olives.
