What is an old series of children's books about dinosaurs?

When I was very young, I read a series of books about dinosaurs, where each book was a fiction story (with educational information) about each species of dinosaur.. what books were those?

I vaguely remember that each book would feature a specific type of dinosaur, and there were quite a few books in the series. I don't remember a lot else about them, and haven't had luck searching & having anything spike my memory. I would have been reading the books somewhere around 1982-85 is my guess if that helps.

Response by poster: I believe it didn't have people in any of the books, and they were somewhat educational. The triceratops would protect her nest from the t-rex, etc. I vaguely remember small plots playing out in each book.

Best answer: I found it, for anyone interested it's the "Dinosaur Lib Series".

Could it be the series by Rourke Enterprises? Sorry I can't seem to find a better link for now. Here's an image of the Diplodocus one.

On preview. Oh well. :D
