Can someone please explain this Wayne's World poster to me? What's with the three fingers?

And I think it is analogous to the Van Halen "hand/figure gesture" that fans do at shows, or the pinkie/index finger/hand in the air thing that mosh-pit-types and hair-band-types do.

So, you, when you are rockin' out with Wayne and Garth, you can whip your feathered hair around and make the "W"

At least that is what comes to mind when I look at it.

It's a W. For, you know, "Wayne's World."

Yeah, and the other "W" hand signal is already taken.

I guess I'm assuming it's a new poster, and by spring they mean Spring 2006...

trixie_bee there's no #3...at least not yet (thank god). The poster was from 1992.

And yes, I agree that it forms the letter 'W' for Wayne's World. Also, the tag line is "One World. One Party. Waynes World" so uhh...3.

I think andrew cooke and misterbrandt and majick are right-- it is a W.

Espy Gillespie: that's one sterling image....

I, too, think it's a W.

It could also be viewed, it seems to me, as a parody/homage/whatever of raised-fist/peace-sign iconography.

Response by poster: Ok, I guess it is just a W. I thought that would be weird though since they never do that in the movie or anything. Just seems totally random to me.
