Where to lock up my stuff at Aquatic Park, SF?

San Francisco, Aquatic Park. I'd like to start swimming there, but I need more details about using either of the clubs for their showers/lockers. More inside.

I need a place to put my clothes/shoes/wallet/phone while I am in the water. I can't tell from either clubs' websites if there are lockers available for day use, or if all are currently taken up with member rentals-- are there lockers free at most times of day? At all?

My other option is locking a box to my bike and then locking that up somewhere nearby. Does that sound feasible?

I'd also like to know if there are any random etiquette issues that aren't immediately apparent from watching swimmers from shore, and if the showers are open or have curtains/stalls.

According to the South End website, all lockers are currently being rented. There is a waiting list.

Note that the clubs are only open to the public on alternate days. Dolphin Club Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday; South End Club Wednesday, Friday.

I have the same question as blnkfrnk. I'm not sure that all the lockers being rented means that there are no lockers available — while strictly speaking that means there are no lockers available, it may actually mean that there are only lockers available for day use. Probably not, though.

It may also be possible to leave stuff at the club, which would presumably be a bit safer than just leaving it out on the beach.
