Want to feel proud of my to-done

I'm looking for a to-do list app that holds on to a list of done tasks
Hi all. After years using index cards and notepads to track my short and long-term to-do's, I'm hoping to find a digital solution. I am looking for the following features:
- Runs and synchs on iMac, iPod Touch, and Blackberry.
- Allows you to sort and re-arrange tasks easily without having to re-enter.
- Moves checked-off items to a list of completed tasks (this seems to be the hardest to find).
Is there anything out there like this?

Doit.im should have what you want. It's a webapp so I'm guessing it should work on all three platforms.
Wunderlist also has a list of done items and is available for Web, Mac OSX and iPhone.
Producteev is another one of those snazzy webapps with completed tasks. Native apps for Mac and iPhone available.

If you want something to run on your own server, try on of these: Plancake, Task Coach, TaskJuggler.

Best answer: +1 for Google Calendar.
I created a calendar called "Completed" and after completing the particular task, changed the calendar from "Work", "Writing", "Personal" or whatever to "Completed" and then I am able to view that calendar and see the history.

Omnifocus (osx and ios) does this. It's expensive but powerful. The iPad version is especially nice.

I believe Remember the Milk has an app for that as well.

I use the Todo.txt apps for this. They work perfectly.

On the Remember the Milk app you can make a smart list which shows completed tasks (which you can also limit to tasks completed in the last day, week, whatever).
These are readily acceptable on the app (which is available on all the platforms you stated).
You can't really reorder tasks, but you can list them by priority (1-4) which might achieve what you are looking for.

Personally, I like Ta-Da Lists, which is a web site rather than an app. But one that works perfectly fine on mobile browsers. I use it for shopping lists rather than to-do lists (because grocery lists are 90% repeats of your LAST grocery list, IME).
Web site means synching is moot.
Reorder mode allows you to drag to reorder. No automatic sort, though. New items are always added at the bottom.
But it definitely shows all your crossed-off items below the main list, most recent at the top.

You could probably get the tasks feature of Google Calendar to work well with a) iCal, b) iCal on your iPod Touch, and maybe Blackberry too.
