Sync fuel records across multiple iThings?

My wife and I both have iPhones. We also own two cars. We each drive either of the cars, depending on where we are going and how many kids we're taking. Is there an app that lets us sync fuel records for both cars between both phones, no matter who does the fill-up? How do we synchronize our records?
I think Fuelly should work well for what you are doing. You'd set up one account only, and then each phone just accesses that account.

A small, spiral-bound notebook kept in the glovebox of each car will do the trick.
Also, if you regularly use gas or credit cards to purchase fuel, you can probably find the appropriate records in an online billing statement.

I use Gas Cubby. You have to use the paid version, but it works with our two iPhones and vehicles. It also keeps track of services like when you are next due for a new air filter, for instance.

We've been doing this with Fuelly since it launched, and at times with more than two cars, even. Works just dandy.
My parents and my grandparents before them did the spiral notebook plan, and always sent that book along with the car's other maintenance records if it was sold. I have often thought it would be interesting if we could download our Fuelly records into a format that I could tuck into the folder of other stuff when I sell a car.

This is why I prefer a notebook to an app, unless that app is prepared to relinquish my data in an XML file. There's no sense in using an app to perform such a simple task as record-keeping if it's going to restrict what I can do with that information.

Ron, I appreciate that you are a pen and paper recordkeeping evangelist, but I think I was pretty clear that this is a question about hid to do this with iPhones.

I believe #1 said they were working a Fuelly API (in his Webstock talk). That could result I'm fairly easy conversion to different formats.
The biggest bonus over pen and paper is I can easily get detailed statistics on the data I've inputted. Yes, it doesn't matter much, but I'm a data junkie so it's kinda fun.
I'm hoping Gas Cubby hooks into Fuelly's API.

FYI you can export your Fuelly data as a .csv file.
