I'm looking for a reading recording of the poem by Ntozake Shange: With No Immediate Cause .
It might have been the mid-eighties when I had a cassette tape with a woman reading this poem. The reading might have been by Ntozake Shange . I can’t remember what else was on the tape or what the tape was called.
The reading was very expressive – may have been from a theatre or other live performance.
I would have bought the tape in a feminist bookstore, which often distributed hard to find feminist works.
