I need the biggest rubies in the world.

Where can I find really large plastic gems like the ones on sale here--but twice the size or more?

The largest they can get are the 10cm rubies/emeralds/diamonds and I am looking for twice that size. Ideally in the UK or Europe, but will consider other sources.

have you tried Amazon? The US version carries them, so I imagine the UK version does too; try search terms like 'plastic gems' or 'giant pirate gems'.

I saw a bunch of huge plastic gemstones (like the size of golf balls) at Michael's Craft Store the other day. Those might be too big for what you're looking for.

Response by poster: Thanks guys, but those are way too small. When I say giant, I do mean giant. Like the size of a human skull. This one on Amazon-US is still the same 10cm (100mm) on the site I linked to in the question.

I've seen a clear/diamond in a catalogue once (sadly no longer available) so somewhere out there someone is making and selling them....

D'oh, I read 10cm as 10mm.

I looked at some prop houses, not sure what type of query to use for fabricators - how many do you need? Found a US fabricator: http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic/Fake_Plastic_Ice

These folks seem to have some good links for DIYing it. Had this one is "ground shipping" only in the US - might have to work with someone.
