I recently read a pretty interesting book review of a book that asserts people make decisions based on their own social morality, not logic, reason or education. But now I can't find said book review or remember where I read it. Help, hivemind!

Could you give any more detail on what you mean by "social morality"?

Best answer: Maybe William Saletan's review in last Sunday's New York Times Book Review of The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt?

Best answer: Was it this one?

Best answer: I just read a review like this in the NY Times a few days ago and it went on my "to read" list. Could this be it? The Righteous Mind?

Response by poster: Yes! It was the Haidt review! As usual, stunning speed in answering the question. Thanks very much. Adding a bookmark and adding the book to my "to read" shelf in Goodreads.
