What is the music in the background of this video? Bonus: Where else has it been featured? It is so familiar it's driving me batty.

Satie, Gymnopedie No 1

It's been used in a lot of films.

Something really makes me think it's Chopin, but I just can't hear it well enough under the guy's voice...

P.S. After checking IMDB, I think The Royal Tenenbaums was what I was remembering it from most...if that makes sense.

Gymnopedie No 1 was composed by Satie to be heard alongside number 2 and number 3. There are also orchestrated versions by Debussy.

It also features in the climax of "Man on Wire", IIRC.
