Help me build a rock blues gospel playlist!

Dear Internet, I'd like a playlist filled with music like this...
Hello persons with wider music collections and tastes than mine -- I'd like to have a playlist filled to the brim with music like this: "I'm Sorry" by Hothouse Flowers (YouTube). I don't really know how to describe it, aside from calling it a blues rock gospel song.
Can anyone recommend other songs that have this same awesome feel and sound?
Thank you!

Well this is probably a completely obvious suggestion, but that song sounds so much like Proud Mary (CCR). Also maybe try some Colin James.

Erm, not to point out the obvious, but that's not the only tune by the Hothouse Flowers that does the blues rock gospel thing.
Nick Cave wanders into this territory sometimes, especially the "Abattoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus" disc.
Maybe try Robert Randolph & the Family Band?
I've found Pandora useful for discovering "sounds like . . . " music. Other people like last.fm.

I always found Pandora terrible for playlists based on a song or band you selected. BUT I find Spotify's "related artists" and "artist radio" really good at serving up things like the song or band I had in mind. I don't know the difference in their metrics, but (in my opinion) Spotify is the first streaming service to function accutrately like CMJ's RIYL feature.
I think "Breathe Around You" is bluesy gospely rocky.

Steven Stills has a bunch of songs in this style. Church from his first solo album is one of my favourites.

Unfortunately, for those of us in Australia (and other parts of the globe), neither Pandora nor Spotify are available. Thank you for the suggestion, though!

Oh, what about Cracker? Take Me Down to the Infirmary might fit. Or St Cajetan.
